Built for the Netherlands and Belgium

This is the biggest difference. Salonnare runs on EU servers (Frankfurt and Amsterdam), is fully GDPR-compliant and speaks your language: Dutch-language support during office hours from a Dutch developer. Payments go through your own Stripe or Mollie account, with no margin taken by Salonnare. iDEAL is natively supported (via both Stripe Connect and Mollie), alongside Bancontact, SumUp and card payments. The point-of-sale calculates Dutch VAT rates (21% on services, 9% on retail) and produces an Auditfile export for the Dutch tax authority. Vev is international and English-language. Features and ease of use
