Salonnare.com uses cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) to make the site work, remember your preferences, measure how visitors use the site and improve the user experience. If you consent to this category, Salonnare records during your visit which advertisement or campaign brought you to us: UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign, content and term), a click ID from an ad platform, the landing page you visited and the referring page are then stored in your browser's sessionStorage - that is what this consent covers. If you go on to submit a form (for example the waitlist signup), that same campaign data is sent to our server regardless of this consent: that is not storage on your device but information you provide yourself when submitting, on the basis of our legitimate interest in measuring which campaign leads to a signup. Salonnare does not place any pixels from Meta, LinkedIn or TikTok. We do use Google Ads conversion tracking, only after your consent to this category: on a successful waitlist signup we send a hashed (unreadable) email address and phone number to Google Ads as an Enhanced Conversion, so we can see which advertisement led to a signup.

Usage measurement in the Salonnare app
In the Salonnare app (the web app on your salon's domain and the iOS and Android app) we ask staff and owners once: Help improve Salonnare, may we measure how you use the app? That question is separate from the cookie banner on salonnare.com; you can always change your choice in the app under My account > Measure usage. We measure with Google Analytics 4 in a separate property used only for the app: which screens you open (with a cleaned-up address without numbers, codes or email addresses), a fixed list of actions, the platform and the plan and role of your account. No names, no client data, no user_id and nothing that identifies your salon. Only after your yes does Google Analytics set the cookies below in the web app; the iOS and Android app use no cookies but a random measurement ID in the app's local storage. Without a yes, Google Analytics only receives signals without a cookie and without a measurement ID (Google Consent Mode). The data is kept for 14 months and GA4 does not store IP addresses. We do not measure the public booking page or other pages for the salon's clients. More in the Privacy Policy, section 21.

Alternatively, clear the cookies and localStorage for salonnare.com in your browser - the banner will then show automatically on your next visit. Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control
The "Do Not Track" HTTP header no longer has legal status in the EU since the ePrivacy implementation and is no longer supported by most modern browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari). Salonnare nevertheless takes the signal seriously: when an active DNT or Global Privacy Control header (sec-gpc: 1) is detected, we treat it as an implicit "decline" and analytics/UX tracking is automatically disabled until you give manual consent.
