Report illegal content

DSA Art. 16 路 17 路 20 路 21

Under Article 16 of the Digital Services Act (EU 2022/2065), you can notify us of illegal content you encounter on Salonnare. This page explains what, how, and what to expect afterwards.

This mechanism is for content that violates the law (e.g. copyright infringement, hate speech, threats, phishing, child sexual abuse material, illegal products or services). For general complaints about a salon - service quality, pricing, conduct - please contact the salon directly.

What can I report?

  • Illegal content on a salon profile in our marketplace
  • Illegal content in customer reviews
  • Intellectual property infringement (e.g. stolen photos or trademarks)
  • Hate speech, threats, harassment
  • Personal data of third parties without consent
  • Phishing or fraud
  • Advertisements for illegal products or services

How do I report?

Email [email protected] with the following information (as complete as possible, so we can assess quickly):

  1. 1. The exact URL where the content is located.
  2. 2. A description of the content and why it is illegal.
  3. 3. The legal basis (which law or article is violated), if known.
  4. 4. A statement that you are reporting in good faith and that the information provided is accurate and complete.
  5. 5. Your name and email address (needed to respond; we keep your identity confidential unless law requires otherwise).
Email: [email protected]

What happens next?

We confirm receipt of your report within 2 business days.

We assess the report carefully and objectively. Depending on complexity, we respond within 10 business days with a decision.

Possible outcomes: content stays (report unfounded), content is modified, content is removed, or referral to the competent authority.

If content is removed, the uploader receives a "Statement of Reasons" per Article 17 DSA with explanation and redress options.

Appeal against a moderation decision

Disagree with a decision (your content was removed, or not removed)? You have the right to file an internal appeal within 6 months via [email protected], citing the decision reference number.

We review appeals within 15 business days.

If the appeal is not resolved satisfactorily, you may turn to a Commission-certified out-of-court dispute settlement body (DSA Art. 21) or the courts.

Trusted flaggers

Reports from "trusted flaggers" recognised by a Digital Services Coordinator (DSA Art. 22) receive priority and expedited handling.
