What does Salonkee cost?

Salonkee has three packages: Start, Plus and Business. Its pricing page lists the Start package from EUR 49 per month. Plus and Business show no price, and Salonkee Payments is an add-on for Plus or Business.^[1] There is no free plan on that page.

What you get depends heavily on the package:^[2]

Start: digital calendar, online bookings, client cards, SMS reminders, a waiting list, a photo gallery per client and a listing on the Salonkee platform.

Plus: adds the point of sale, stock and order management, gift vouchers, subscriptions, promo codes and accounting reports.

Business: adds marketing campaigns, loyalty points, forms, advanced statistics, HR and staff access management.

So to take payments at the counter in Salonkee you need at least Plus, and for campaigns or loyalty points Business. For both you have to ask Salonkee for a price.

What does Salonnare cost?

Free: EUR 0 per month, permanently. 1 staff member, 50 bookings per month, online booking page, point of sale (cash and card), client management, email reminders, Google Business Profile and the salon marketplace.

Starter: EUR 9.99 per month or EUR 99.90 per year. Up to 3 staff and unlimited bookings, plus reports, gift cards, loyalty points, stock management, packages, waiting list, intake forms, no-show fees, online payments and an accounting export.

Pro: EUR 14.99 per month or EUR 149.90 per year. Unlimited staff, plus email campaigns, marketing automation, memberships, deposits, chair rental and commissions.

Every price is on the pricing page. On online and card payments through Salonnare there is a platform fee of 0.5% (minimum EUR 0.30) per payment, on top of the provider's own fee, and the money goes to your own Mollie or Stripe account. There is no commission per booking and none on new clients from the marketplace. Register before 31 December 2026 and you get Pro free until 31 March 2027.

A year of costs side by side

A worked example for the first 12 months, based on the published prices:

Small salon, online booking only: Salonkee Start costs at least 12 x EUR 49 = EUR 588. Salonnare Free costs EUR 0, as long as you stay within 1 staff member and 50 bookings per month.

Salon with 2 or 3 staff and a point of sale: in Salonkee that is the Plus package (price on request). In Salonnare it is Starter: EUR 99.90 per year with annual billing.

Salon that also wants campaigns and loyalty points: in Salonkee that is Business (price on request). In Salonnare it is Pro: EUR 149.90 per year, about a quarter of the EUR 588 that 12 months of Salonkee Start cost at its starting price.

Payment fees come on top in both cases. Ask Salonkee for a quote on Plus or Business before you compare the totals.

Where Salonkee is stronger

Fair is fair. Salonkee includes SMS reminders in its Start package.^[2] Salonnare sends reminders and review requests by email and has no SMS or WhatsApp. Salonkee is also an established name in Luxembourg and Belgium, lists salons on its own client platform and offers an HR module in Business. If SMS reminders are a must for you, take that into account.
