Which platform when?

Choose Salonized if: you have been running it for years and do not want to migrate, you want the link with the Treatwell marketplace, or you want to use their own card terminal solution (Salonized Pay). Choose Salonnare if: you want a free tier or cheap starter plan, you need iDEAL + SEPA working out of the box, you want all-in-one (calendar + POS + inventory + marketing) in one tool, or you run a salon up to ~10 staff and want a modern UI.

Pricing comparison

Salonized has no free tier (there is a 14-day trial). According to their pricing overview the Appointments plan costs €21 per month, Basic (with POS) €39 and Pro (with marketing) €59, each with a surcharge per additional staff member^[1]. Salonnare starts at €0 (Free plan, 1 staff, 50 bookings) and scales to €29 (Starter, 3 staff) or €59 (Pro, unlimited). For a starting hairdresser or solo beautician, Salonnare is immediately free; for growing salons you pay roughly the same but get extra modules (POS, inventory, memberships) at no extra cost. Annual billing gives you 2 months off.

Native iDEAL and SEPA

Both platforms support Dutch payments, but the integration differs. Salonized offers online payments from the Basic plan and its own card terminal solution, Salonized Pay. Salonnare has both Stripe Connect and Mollie natively integrated — iDEAL works immediately after signup, SEPA direct debit for memberships and deposits requires no external setup.

All-in-one vs calendar-first

With Salonized the POS is in the Basic plan and the extensive marketing (newsletters, rebook reminder) in Pro. Salonnare is built as salon ERP: calendar, POS, inventory, purchasing (suppliers + POs) and marketing automation all live in one tool without separate licenses; multi-location is in development.

Both platforms offer a booking widget and direct booking page. The difference is what happens after. With Salonized reminders are in every plan, feedback from Basic and the rebook reminder in Pro. With Salonnare the customer journey runs automatically: confirmation, email reminder, rebook reminder and (optional) birthday email run without extra setup on the Starter tier. Migrating from Salonized to Salonnare

Salonized offers an export of your clients and full appointment history. Export these and import them into Salonnare via self-service onboarding. Most salons are live within one working day: (1) create a Salonnare account on the free plan, (2) import the CSV, (3) configure services and opening hours, (4) place the booking widget on your website, (5) update your Google Business booking link, (6) send loyal clients a short email. Where Salonized is stronger

Honest: Salonized has advantages we will not ignore. A longer track record (more than ten years vs Salonnare 2026), a larger community with published tutorials and case studies, the link with the Treatwell marketplace and its own card terminal solution (Salonized Pay).

If you run a chain with 20+ staff and 10+ years of data in Salonized, migrating is not necessarily worth the effort. For small and mid-sized salons, the free tier + all-in-one combination of Salonnare usually tips the balance.
