Built for the Netherlands and Belgium

This is where the difference is biggest. Salonnare is NL/BE-first: the entire app, your booking page and the emails to clients are in Dutch (and four other languages). Clients pay with iDEAL (native via both Stripe Connect and Mollie), Bancontact, SumUp or card. The point of sale calculates the correct Dutch VAT rates (21% on services, 9% on retail) and you export an Auditfile for the Dutch tax authority. That saves your accountant work and you a headache. Conclusion: why Salonnare wins

Meevo has been around longer and is bigger. If you run a large international chain centred on the US and mainly need very deep American reporting and analytics, Meevo is worth considering.
